Surprise from Germany!

Me, my host mom, and my host sister went to the beach yesterday and they told me that my host brother and my host dad (too many "hosts") went to Oshkosh to look for apartments. When we came back, we brought my sister to practice and we were planning on picking her up right after and then go to Briqs (an ice cream place in Wausau) to meet my host dad and host brother. When we got there, my host dad got a table for us and told me that Sam (my host brother) went over to Subway which was right next to Briqs because he was super hungry. As soon as we ordered we sat at our table and were waiting for our ice cream. But suddenly my brother (from Germany) stood right next to me, bringing me my ice cream! I was so shocked but also so happy and I didn't even realize it at first. I was like: "Wait, what? How is that even possible?" So their surprise worked out really well! Even though some odd things were happening the days before, I had totally no idea and was super surprised! So actually Sam and my host dad went to Madison to pick up my brother and they were waiting in the back of the store to get my ice cream so they can come out and bring it to me! I am more than happy that I finally got to see him after 9 months, that he came to visit me and that we get to spend a few days together in Wausau! Thank you to everybody who kept the secret for so long and who helped to make all this possible!
